Upon acceptance into the program, participants reside at our transitional housing facility, located on Wentworth Street in downtown Kittery, Maine.

Located in a residential setting, the Wentworth Street Home provides 5 apartments and a small common area and lending library.

Offering participants (adults and children) the opportunity to live in a safe and dignified manner, the Wentworth Street home is situated on a large property with a great yard where resident children can play and adults can gather and forge friendships with neighbors.

With generous support and donations from the community, residents installed a flower and vegetable garden in the summer of 2009. Much more than a place to stay, the Wentworth provides a home-like atmosphere, as residents work to develop the skills they need to become permanently self-sufficient.
