Housing: The mission of Fair Tide is to provide safe, dignified affordable housing and support services to formerly homeless low-income individuals and families.
Participants accepted into the Fair Tide program reside at the Center for Sustainable Living, located on Wentworth Street in downtown Kittery, Maine.
The Center for Sustainable Living is comprised of a beautifully renovated, energy-conserving apartment building, a resource library, flower and vegetable gardens, and children's play area. The Center is within a mile of public transportation, the public library, a laundromat, the post office, a pharmacy, a park, and downtown Portsmouth.
Center for Sustainable Living residents live for up to two years in one of the five furnished apartments while participating in the programs and services of Fair Tide.
